We had the oportunity to take a guided walk with Dingo our Aboriginal guide through the magnificent Daintree rainforest in North Queensland. A truly spectacular rainforest filled with many surprises. It was an amazing learning experience and an opportunity to learn a little about Aboriginal culture. What a great day!

A short poem about the inspiration the Ocean has given me and how it reflects on life in general, The journey is the same throughout life, we all need others to bring us to a true reality and give us meaning, strength and courage.

A Noosa Storm
Просмотров 81612 лет назад
A typical tropical storm in south east Queensland. We were moored at the Marina so we were safe, but two Catamarans moored up the river were struck by lightening!! Very scary stuff. Weathering out a storm is not exactly fun! Hopefully we will avoid the storms as we sail up north.

Sam’s struggle is over 6:50
My nonverbal child screams like he's being murdered every hour on the hour. We've had police called so many times on us when I just suggested "just chill out" to my child.

💔😥 poor sweet blue eyed boy. I feel your pain.
C'è un cane e un altro animale😅
Uhhhhh, maybe Sam doesn’t like the boat and wants to stay on land? How about you take him back and not let him back on the boat? Respect and recognise what he hates and what triggere him rather than putting him through this uncomfortable situation and filming it to make him out like a sad person. Come on.
Does this guy have profound autism with an IQ of less than 50?
Music calms My nephew. And musicals
I hope the parents take care of themselves.
I'm autistic and I am very confident that people do have autism because they are different and I am feeling a bit fine now and I have a British accent like Ed Sheeran and are you from Australia and I'm from Plymouth England and people can treat me as human beings and thank you for all of your support in the video and um yeah it was amazing thank you so much ❤❤❤

Poor Sam😢😥😩😫
I’d love a chat. We are thinking of cruising with our autistic son.
Not that I expect this to reach anyone appropriate, but in case I'll put it out there..... Parents (or anyone else really) PLEASE understand that when a meltdown happens it is not something that can be stopped. There's too much anxious energy built up and it has to pour out. Restraining is only going to cause further distress. Touching at all, depending on hypersensitives, can make it worse. All the crying, screaming, stomping, hitting, etc. is how we work out the excess energy to a point where we can cope again. The best way you can help is learning what adds to their overload and help them avoid those things and situations as much as possible as a preventative measure. Meltdowns may seem like they're triggered sometimes by the stupidest smallest things, but what you see from the outside is just the last of dozens or more of things, sometimes built up over months or even years, finally being the thing that's just too much. Providing your loved one with the tools to deal with getting rid of the excess energy when meltdowns happen is another valuable way you can help. Grounding techniques are one such valuable tool. It often takes a bit for us to gain enough control and awareness to put them to use but they can help a lot coming out of them. And please, never act like this is at all within the control of the person. It isn't. Don't act like it's a huge deal either. Yes, they're horrible to watch and assure you much worse to go through, but honestly the shame and embarrassment afterwards is often just as bad or worse. I'm a 44 year old male diagnosed with ASD. I deal with meltdowns regularly and some notably worse than this.
My son improved excellently from his autism spectrum disorder with assistance of herbal medicine from Solution Healing Home channel on RUclips,, ruclips.net/user/shortsh0YncUMye4c?feature=share

Poor, sweet baby :( God Bless and be with you all.
Who ever thinks autism is a gift, watch this video.
It’s neither a curse or a blessing. It can be a gift because you can have lots of different traits and skills unique to neurotypicals. It does’t deny the fact that it can be hard to have Autism. Remember that it’s a spectrum. Not all Autistic people are like this boy. He has severe Autism which is difficult and hard to live with. Lots of people with Autism are able to speak fine and not all have violent meltdowns.

Poor guy, I can surely understand his overwhelming emotions. You guys are great parents too

I have autism and anxiety but people know me better than I am now because my family and friends are coming to my 16th birthday party and we gonna have a disco and party food and stuff and dancing and drinking and when I'm 19 and I am going to leave school and go to college and study law sociology and business and technology and social media and I'm going to get a job from university and I'm just really proud of myself and my family and friends are going to be proud of me
Hi John, thanks so much for your comment. You sound like a fantastic young man with a bright future and very supportive family and friends. Keep following your dreams and you will go far. Enjoy your birthday and make sure you dance like no one is watching 😅 You will be pleased to know that our son Sam who is now 30 is much happier and suffers less anxiety and has a very nice life. He had certainly taught us many lessons as he has to most people that know him. Keep up the great work John you are a super ⭐️ Love to you and your family from our family! It be very frustrating for Sam and yourselves not knowing what he wants or needs to the lack of communication
I have Aspergers and I suffer from Major Depression Disorder and Anxiety Sometimes I just become anxious for no reason and I start crying and screaming at the same time. I have to cut my nails short because when I’m nervous, I dig my nails into my arms, and I don’t listen to fast paced music because it will trigger a panic attack/nervous breakdown
But I try to read books, exercise, and do the things I enjoy
The quarantine has been very hard too I feel like a trapped animal in my apartment
I'm really sorry to hear that, have you tried any helpful medications/meditations/breathing exercises yet?
@@TheRealTorG yes I have. luckily I am doing better, and seeing more friends and I even like a guy! Thank you tho, I'm a lot happier than I was 2 years ago!:)
